This is a terrific book for anyone who wants to know more about genetically engineered crops - their potential, and their risks.  Pamela Ronald works in this field at UC Davis, specifically with rice, and her husband Raoul manages the organic farm at UC Davis. It is carefully and thoughtfully written.
